WHS: WHAT WE DO AND WHY WE TAKE IT SERIOUSLY
We pride ourselves on the elaborate WH&S system in place which has allowed us to provide for the safest possible working environment for both our team and yours. Our system was designed to ensure our staff remain safe when working in a complex cleaning environment.
The purpose of the Sun Work Health and Safety Management System (WHSMS) is to provide management and workers with a framework and the tools to manage health and safety in the workplace.
The WHSMS is designed to ensure a uniform, safe and healthy responsible working environment for workers and contractors of Sun Cleaning Corp.
Implementation of the system will assist Sun Cleaning Corp to exceed its moral and legal obligations in a safe, positive environment.

To ensure the safety of our staff and uphold our WHS responsibilities we provide the following polices & procedures:
Risk & Hazard Identification Management:
No work is ever conducted on your site until a complete risk assessment is carried out whereby all three parties (Sun Cleaning Corp Management, Our Cleaning Techs and you as the client) must be satisfied that the risks have been explained, understood and where possible reduced. Risk assessments are considered fluid with the notion that they can be updated and amended at any time with consultation always encouraged by cleaning techs and the client.

OUR PEOPLE, INDUCTION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Every member of our ground level team are thoroughly screened, trained and inducted.
All cleaning techs are trained in our systems, products, chemicals, and equipment in order to ensure both competency and consistency on every clean. All Sun Cleaning Technicians hold the following competencies as a minimum requirement:

OUR PEOPLE, INDUCTION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

Sign the new starter to CleanHouse:
Give them a rundown of what is expected regarding shift acceptance, clocking in and out of shifts and shift reporting.

Company documentation is supplied:
Issue a copy of the SCC Induction Manual and completion of the Declaration of Understanding. This can be accessed in incident/forms in Guardhouse.

Complete specified PEP training modules:
Time is allocated with a cleaning tech. This includes live assessment of task competencies. i.e. wiping, mopping, vacuuming, decanting of chemicals etc.

ISSUE THE COP’S AND RISK ASSESMENT FOR THE ROSTERED SITE:
We prioritise customer satisfaction by maintaining open communication throughout the cleaning process. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality service and promptly addressing any concerns that may arise.

Document all compliance and qualifications:
Drivers Licence, First Aid Certificate, White Card, National Police Check, Working with Children Check and any other relevant documentation pertaining to the role they are applying for.

Pre-Employment Questionnaire:
To be completed electronically via CleanHouse.

Fair Work Documents issued:
Fair Work Information Statement & Casual Employment Information Statement need to be emailed to the cleaning tech.

Casual Employment Contract:
To be issued with the cleaning techs specific details (Include correct award rate in accordance with the role being applied for).

Onsite Induction Form:
Prior to conducting any works, all cleaning techs must complete an onsite induction form with SCC Management. This is located In CleanHouse under incident/forms and can only be accessed when logged into the site.
CleanHouse SYSTEM:
ROSTERING, REPORTING & COMPLIANCE
SHIFT ATTENDANCE, TASK TRACKING & COMPLIANCE
Sun Cleaning Corp utilises the CleanHouse system in conjunction with our Integrated Management System to deliver a service to our clients that is unmatched in the cleaning and facility management space.
Staff clock in and out VIA their own unique login.
GPS monitoring is utilised to track staff’s attendance and time spent on site.
Cleanhouse can track how long individual tasks take, allowing for performance reviews to action the appropriate improvements through training.
REPORTING
MANAGEMENT REPORTING
Random quality inspections are conducted by SCC management. This is where a compliance inspection report is completed.
Compliance inspection reports are based on Clean Operation Procedures (COP’S).
COP’s are made into a checklist which cleaning tech’s must complete on every site visit to ensure scope outcomes are achieved.
CLEANING TECH REPORTING
COP checklist is completed on every shift. The checklist exists within the CleanHouse App so tasks can be digitally checked off and corresponding images of the site can be uploaded for quality control.
